Snow Wars

Arf, Urf, Filter Fox, and Chr duke it out in a ferocious snowball battle to the death! What starts off as a one on one face off turns into a chaotic warzone as more attackers join the fray.

I found a way to spend some of this free time I have right now. I lugged several my fursuits up to the mountains, spent a couple days filming this, then spent a month or so compositing shots and working on effects. Since I was the only one around at the time, I'm behind the camera and in every costume. Fun.

This was great practice for AfterEffects compositing and effects. Several of the AfterEffects cloning tutorials available here on YouTube came in handy. And the handshake was a pain... Almost as long to put together as Urf's death, and it's still not perfect. I hope ya like it!

@thescarmedia Yep. Search for AfterFx Cloning for some how-to's for some of this. And there are a ton of really helpful tutorials over at Video Copilot that helped a lot for a bunch of the effects used here.

They were a lot of work, but the visual effects were all done in AfterEffects.

Awesome, that's good to hear, thanks. The handshake was a little off for 90% of the time when I was working on the video, and I finally got fed up with it and fixed it...with about 4 hours of work. Glad it turned out well.

What impressed me with this was how you were able to do all four characters and have them interacting as though they were all there at the same time. Great camera work too!
