  • after the funding agency or institution handed over the project to the community, then we can hardly sustain .i think one reason because the LGU of the given community has no commitment, not even dedication to the significance of the project.Most of the LGU's capability to sustain such project are half baked. They dont have the heart, most of the government executives were taken it for grnted; we can say, Execs are sometimes ignoring the importance of these coastal environment.

  • hws the sustainability of the project nowadays? Lots of communiy based fish sanctuaries in the philippines but not even 1% of these CBFS are successful after sometimes (10years more).
