Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming Edition Setup Tutorial + BEST SONY VEGAS QUALITY SETTINGS

How to setup the Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming Edition and how to render the BEST possible video for YouTube.


*USE VEGAS PRO 9.0C!

*Be sure to capture gameplay using the Playstation setting, even if you play on the Xbox. Vegas prefers the m2ts files to mp4. (If you capture using the Xbox setting, you'll only see the top corner of your video when you drop the video into Vegas.)

* If you are not seeing gameplay in the preview screen of Archsoft or on your HDTV, be sure you have updated drivers that you have your console set to 720p HD. Updated driver can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/?q75r2fqftabocv1

*You NEED to use component cables and have an HDTV to capture in HD. The only other option is to buy a hdmi to component cable converter...

*Lastly, if your final rendered video looks a tad choppy, change the rendering frame rate to 60fps. This will smooth out the video for first person shooting games ie Call of Duty, Battlefield, Halo etc
