I posted this wreck originally way back in the summer but it was only like a minute and a half long so here i now post the full version of the wreck.

Late in the race after a restart with 12 laps to go Rusty Wallace gets turned coming off turn 4 as several other cars become involved.
Its not a true big one but definatly the biggest wreck of the race

Invloved:
#2 Rusty Wallace
#10 Derrike Cope
#12 Hut Stricklin
#17 Darrell Waltrip
#33 Harry Gant

  • Jesus DW how many pit stalls do you need? BoOOGITY BOOGITY

  • IT MAY NOT BE A TRUE BIG ONE, IT SURELY IS BIG!

  • @Buckkiller888 there stock cars. there made to run the same. same hp, chassis, body syles ect... drivers now days are only worried about being beat by another driver not by another car.

  • Nascar is boring and stupid to me now, 2001- were the best days of nascar now its so modernized you cant tell a toyota from a fucking ford, chevy, or dodge!!!

  • This is the best Nascar ever looked to me personally. Could just be that I was kid then and stuff from your childhood always gets the rose colored glasses treatment.

  • if I'm not wrong this was the year they tried a new pit procedure with like a group A - group B - or something like that...I remember seeing a race on ESPN Classic or SPEED like that a few years ago.

  • Richert is the crew chief for Casey Mears and the #90 this year.

  • Anyone know WHY they had 2 pace cars pacing the field under caution? I don't remember them ever having 2 pace cars aside from the normal warm up laps each race

  • @RaidenX2007 This was before NASCAR bunched the cars up together to "create more excitement" So that was a BIG ONE. Besides "the big one" is defined as the biggest wreck of the race, involving multiple cars, doesn't mean you have to have 15 20 cars in it

  • doug richert was Greg Biffle's crew chief for a while, not sure who he's working with now? He worked with DW in '91.
