Hotteterre Cascade de St. Cloud

Third suite in G major from Hotteterre's "Primier livre de pieces" (1715). The allemande, nicknamed "Cascade de St. Cloud" (type "parc cascade cloud" in youtube search box and you can see a video of the cascade; Hotteterre was the flute teacher to the nephew of Louis XIV, who lived in the chateau at St. Cloud). My new camera, recorded 2 minutes out of the box on a very HOT day, which might, in part, account for my lethargic performance. please comment. This is played on my Hotteterre traverso/flute copy playing at the original pitch of a=385 Hz, although I feel that I am playing sharp, here.

Every time I play this piece, the allemande, I tend to think of the wonderful water fountain (Cascade). It is an amazing feature with golden cherubs and other beings with water shooting everywhere and an amazing waterfall feature. I tend to use this image to help me think of tempo and how to interpret the ornaments.
