well, how long they last actually depends on a lot of factors. the goal is that they last a lifetime. the crowns last an average of 12 years but may be more or less. the implants if maintained can last a lifetime althouth there is a 95% success rate for implants after 5 years. about 90 for 10 years and so on.

@MrLukasDiSparrow When we do surgery we don't give a guarantee. It's not fair to the doctor or patient. What you should look for is if the dentist is skilled, has a good track record, and most importantly lots of positive patient testimonials. I'll work through problems with my patients until they are happy. Never a guarantee but when two resonable people work together you will get a a great outcome. Find a dentist who will do the same.
