@robbo302 A blow to the head with a heavy blunt object is a quick humane way of killing an animal such as a gummy shark. What do u mean by cutting the back of its neck? U mean just behind the back of the head? Or the throat? Hitting a gummy shark with one heavy blow will kill it instantly and it will not feel pain. Many trout fisherman carry small, elongated stones with them to hit the fish over the head to kill them quickly. It is quite a common and quick method of dispatching a fish.
