What I always liked about IG's fake review about Monster Party is he totally misses how as the kid it's possible to hit enemies' shots back with your bat. Granted I never found it that useful during the actual levels, but the bosses were almost meant to be fought that way. And the sad thing is I see him deflecting shots by accident sometimes in his video, and never commenting on it. It's like he probably knew, but pretended it wasn't there to act like the game was worse than it was.

Ballz 3D is pretty mediocre though. The main problem is that the game is attempting all this complicated stuff with balls and the framerate is not so great, so occasionally the screen is just a garbled mess of balls, which is unacceptable in a fighting game. The game's overall style was pretty amusing, I guess; like when you beat a guy, he'd explode and his balls would all roll around you in a circle as you danced. The gameplay was similar to those old 3D fighting games like Virtua Fighter.
