http://www.motivatedfitness.net Hey Folks, early in my fitness journey I made a video stating that Chocolate Milk was just as good as most post recovery drinks out there because it had the same 4:1 Carb to Protein Ratio. Well, after a little research, I have a different opinion. Listen to the video for more info.

  • Another good pre exercise drink is C4. I just bought this and I feel a boost in energy throughout my workout.

  • Thanks! And your body shows your results.. im sure your lifting alot of weights right?

  • @ram130 Thanks.. much appreciated! I am not really lifting that heavy. I'm just following the P90X program. I have a set of dumbbells that go up to 52.5lbs along with some resistance bands. Everything else is just body weight.

  • im wondering what is in the p90x recovery drink that makes it very usefull drinking it after your workout...is it around the same as a whey protein shake?

  • @Mozzzole Great question. The P90x Recovery Drink has L-Arginine, L-Glutamine, and Creatine which help the muscles recover and grow after the workout.

  • @MotivatedFitness1 Thanks for the tips. Awesome advice! Im just statring P90 X today as a matter of fact. My question is this, Im planning to use chocolate milk as a recovery, but have creatine in pill form, and Liquid Argenine from V.S. that taste pretty good. Do you think this would work okay? Im eating clean, trying to get my protein from food sources, and am going to attempt the program with as little supplements as possible. Any advice?

  • @screamoboy96 jacked but i stopped taking it cause i felt the effects where off after like a week i thought i needed a pre workout for that same reason but i realized after i dont i just make myself bring it everytime and that works for me...also a cup of black coffee is acutally really good for you pre workout

  • @screamoboy96 jack3d and some additional creatine monohydrate 15-20 minutes before you workout. remember to consume water while you're lifting.

  • I get really tired during my workout, not focusing how I should and i feel its effecting my results. I need something thatl keep me focused any suggestions?

  • im trying something different

    Almond chocolate milk

    1 banana

1 scoop of peanut butter and ice

so far i've been getting alot stronger and i've been cutting somehow its working great for me

  • It says MOTIVTED instead of MOTIVATED.....
