  • LOVED THIS BAND, STILL DO. Songs from my childhood

support LOCAL music, LIVE MUSIC RULES

  • Love their album, thanks for bringing them before my eyes! 8)

  • Seth has lived in Hawaii for many years. Last I knew, Billy Y. was living near Woodstock, New York.

  • Billy Ylitalo was on the first EP...2 songs.

He formed the Swollen Monkeys in NYC. Maybe still there?

Mike Turano was the drummer rite before the first EP. Then Rich N played drums for almost 3 years and recorded on first EP with T.L.,Bill S, Bill F. and Billy Y. They did this at Candlelight studios in Madison. This got them on the Rock radar screen to start with.

See/buy old EP with ambulance on back cover..a keeper. Feeny's posters were all over Madcity and were collector's items.Rock on SFB.

  • This was the rockinest Madison Band ever....Merlyn's, Starship, Seventh St. Entry, on the road...period.

Early 80's Appliances SFB rocked.....Bill S., T.L., Bill and Ed and Chicago drummer Rich N.

    These guys rocked the Casbah.....

The first EP was the seminal incarnation of the band.......raw, unsensored, loud, hurried...voices of that generation in Madcity.

These guys usually outplayed the opening bands and could pull off an entire night by themselves......

    Rock on........

  • Whatever happened to Seth Markov the wood wind player/poet and Billy Yllitello the sax player?

  • Twenty-five years later and this still holds up. Man these guys were the greatest. Thanks for posting.

  • Appliances SFB was and still is the greates band out of WI (along with die kreuzen). Their SFB album is a classic, one of the 10 best albums ever made.Period.

  • You just made my day, these guys were the greatest. Even Bob Hope had to love this band.
