He was so fabulous in this opera. Of the two performances on DVD, I like this one best, but they're both fantastic. I hope some day there will be a video of Luciano and Joan Sutherland in "La fille du regiment." So many performances

of it at Covent Garden and the Met, there must be a video of it somewhere. Even

if was of a dress rehearsal or an amateur video, I'd buy it. Thank you for posting
