PC BASED SECURITY SYSTEM

This is a PC I upgraded for someone.

I custom programmed this computer for a household security system, it can record 8 different cameras all at the same time 24 hours a day for about a week and a half(guesstimated time until a 320gig hard drive fills up and starts rewriting the oldest data first. That's 24/7 with the added option of remote viewing available.

This is a Gateway that started with these specs: 1.3ghz P4 @ 400 FSB, 128mb of RD-800 at 800 FSB, one 20 gig ultra ata 100 hard drive, one CD drive, one CRT monitor, one keyboard and mouse, 32mb video card, a 2.1 speaker system, and Windows 2000

Here are the current specs after I upgraded it: 2x Lorex 4 port video/audio capture cards, 1.3ghz P4 at 400 FSB, 1gig of RD-800 at 800FSB, one 20gig ultra ata 100, one 320gig ultra ata 133, one CD burner, one CD drive(soon to be one DVD burner, one LCD 14 inch wide, one 128mb video card, one keyboard and mouse, a 2.1 speaker system, and Windows XP pro 32-bit.

  • ur computer is ugly lol try to chose better look for it

  • @Faubaus94 your comment is stupid, not my computer, it's what they had at the time. Now they got a custom built setup with more cameras and a bigger hard drive

  • @SPACEDMADNESS42 who give a fuck about you cameras lol

  • @Faubaus94 my customer cares about the cameras, I got paid to setup that system up, so for that matter I'm the system administrator. Besides, like I said this was the old build.

I build, repair, and upgrade systems. Typing from my custom built 2010 $3,000+ dollar gaming computer. got an i7 with 6gigs triple channel ddr3 at 1600fsb with two 500gig WD in raid 0 with a EVGA x58 3x sli classified MB, with a GTX 295 with dual DVI and HDMI,1890mb ram, 1100watt PSU, all in a Cosmos S 1100 tower.

  • @SPACEDMADNESS42

Nice rig bro. You got the first gen 295 then? I have a v1 and a v2 in my own gaming rig, just recently acquired some water blocks to add them to my cooling loop. Makes things much, much quieter. :)

  • @SomeCuntsUsingMyName yeah they're loud cards alright.
