Ch. 6 - 復帰!炎の上に月明かりの空!
(Return!! Flames Above a Moonlit Sky!!)
Kojuro Katakura (Lv. 27) vs. Nobunaga Oda vs. Mitsuhide Akechi (CPU Hard)
Date was noted as a hero after he defeated Oda in a battle of great lords: good and evil. Good prevailed, leaving evil for dead.
Only to find out that evil isnt dead yet.
Oda, humiliated by his loss against Date, has departed to his secondary castle on the other side of Japan to plan and devise his next move. The move to kill Date and everything he stands for.
Akechi, a murdering psychopath, now has a shot to get rid of the Devil King himself so that he can take over Japan. Akechi has devised an attack to burn down the castle with Oda still inside. Nobunaga was aware of this and has started to guard their castle from Akechi and his dark forces.
Fortunately, Date, along with his bodyguard Kojuro, has the chance to get rid of 2 evil lords to keep Japan in a peaceful state. Kojuro must slip past most of the soldiers to reach his destination to Oda and Akechi.
The odds never looked good for Date and Kojuro...hell, they dont even believe in them.
True. This is probably the only game based on the Sengoku period where Mitsuhide is depicted this way.
I suppose viewing him as sadistic and psychotic sort of makes sense, since he disagreed with and betrayed Nobunaga, but the way he is depicted in Onimusha and Samurai Warriors is probably closer to history.
Then again, Sengoku Basara is anything BUT historically accurate :P
