Excellent, thank you. Has a definate Sam The Sham sound. Unfortunately it also sounds alot like my ex, especially the "please don't touch me" routine. LOL

@moodyballetdancer If he denies it,I won't say anything more. No,it wasn't after a gig,I never said it was.He was handing out some stupid leaflets, that's how I met your husband. You don't seem pretty in the foto though.I'm quite sure that you can't even fuck him like I did.Goodbye and say to Max that he's a bastard for lying.

@Bromoteknada Oh really? Was that after a gig? Doubtful as that would have been 1977 and the band broke up in 1969. Max was very heavily involved in Jehovah's Witnesses at that time as an elder in the congregation. If that WAS the case, you must not have been too memorable. I passed along the message and Max has no clue who you are. So sad.

@moodyballetdancer @moodyballetdancer hahahah really?I had sex with Max when he was 31.Say to him, that Kelly says hi.

Wow! I see nicobitles pulled a song from Animated Music called Professor Pott's Pornographic Projector. That was Richard Clark's song he sang lead vocals in.

This is really something. I love the sound from the 60s but it´s the first time I listen to The Trolls but not the last one. My hobby is to rediscover all those great bands from that period that didn´t "broke through". Listen for example to THE ZETTLERS and their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah". Really f.....g good with a tremendous driving beat.

I saw The Trolls in Chicago in 1966-1967 and they were great. I still have this single and also like the flip side "Are You The One".
That was out before Sam The Sham. Take a listen to their album 'Animated Music'. Another album that was recorded 'before its time'.

Actually Sam the Sham charted with Wooly Bully in April 1965. The Trolls charted with this in October 1966.

Well, I had to rate it a 5! After all, that's my husband singing and he wrote it (Max Jordan)! Where the heck did you find that? Johnny Pate (the engineer) sped that up to *frenetic* pace and made the band sound like Alvin and The Chipmunks. Believe me, it wasn't intended to be that fast!

Thanks for this information...very interesting! I found it hiding in a box of old 45's at a flea market and it's in near mint condition to boot. Never have seen another copy anywhere.
