Nina Explains: The Situation in Egypt

Note: We never expected this video to become so popular. This was just our latest video of Nina in her day to day life. We are not political pundits. The information Nina is sharing here comes from an Asahi Shimbun Newspaper article about the situation in Egypt. Nina saw the picture in the newspaper and asked about it and her mother explained the content of the article to her in Japanese. Then, the next day, Nina saw a similar picture in my English newspaper and started to explain what she had learned in English, so I grabbed my video camera.
We are flattered by all the kind comments, but just wanted to set that record straight.

I think Nina can only visualize up to maybe 50 people. I can't even imagine what it means that over 600,000 people have viewed this video! ha ha

Anyway, we've decided to stop uploading videos of Nina to to respect her privacy as she gets ready to start elementary school, so no requests, I'm afraid.

I discovered Nina in february 2011 with this video about the Egyptian revolution, which succeeded...

I'm a Syrian and my people are being slaughtered by a dictator as I speak.. So sometimes when I get sad with what's happening, I watch nina's video and I manage to find hope again.. Keep it up little girl.. :)
