Mountain Bike Nevada is a Mountain Bike ride across the state of Nevada from Cal-Neva Hotel & Casino on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, on the border of California and Nevada. The 11 day mountain bike ride starts there, and ends on the Utah - Nevada State Line in Border Town on Highway 50.
11 Days
533 miles
38,000 ft of climbing.

This video is day 5 and 6
Day 5 started in Berlin Ichthyosaur State Park Nv, and finished in the south end of Big Smokey Valley in the town of Carvers Nevada

Day 6 started outside Carvers, NV. and we climbed up the Toiabe Mountain Range, up Ophir Grade, and climbs up over 10,100 ft. Then descends through the ghost mining town of Ophir. There used to be over 2000 people that lived there.
At 2:40 you will see a creek crossing. If you can go frame by frame, you can see that Jami's wheel bow wave pushes a small brook trout out of the water. I stopped to throw the little guy back in the water. Once at the bottom, the final clip is Diana's Punch Bowl. It is a Hydrothermal vent surrounded by a Tufa formation in the valley floor that is 40 - 40 feet deep, with water that will hard boil an egg in just a couple of minutes.

I will have about 5 or 6 videos to connect the state from end to end. So, this is 3 of 5 or 6.
