Footage of Reno, Nevada shot in 1973 taken from the movie "Charley Varrick".

Scene 1 was shot from the former First National Bank building (now Wells Fargo) and features a great shot of the Riverside Hotel, Mapes and Virginia St. Bridge over the Truckee River.

Scene 2 looks south down S. Virginia St. by the Ponderosa, and centers on the Imperial restaurant, which is now a Starbucks.

Scene 3 was shot on the corner of First & Arlington, by the Truckee River.

Scene 4 was shot at City Auto Wrecking, a few miles east of Reno.

  • Actually, the bank building (former FNB, FIB, Wells Fargo), built in 1963, was purchased by the city during the last decade and is now Reno City Hall.

  • @taoshaman; Aw crap, I guess I haven't been keeping up. Thanks for straightening that out...what happened to the building on Stewart Street?
