  • @DarthAzabrush Since the adoption of the free market approach ours are no better.

  • Our Job Centers here in the UK are ghastly. As I have a modest amount of savings I didn't qualify for any benefits whilst I was looking for work. I was asigned to a disability officer who was rarely in and totally incompetant. So for a whole year I have to go down every other week which required specialist help to achieve. I was then told that in order to keep "claiming" no money I would have to come in every day for the next two years!

  • @thatsnotagoodidea better still pass this on to all the progressive thinkers in the USA so they can get off there lazy bums and fight to have what I have got, then tell the GOP to go stick it!

  • @thatsnotagoodidea thats excluding $66 a fortnight study allowance, free technical college, rent assistance and $88 per fortnight mobility allowance if needed. We also have 16 weeks full paid maternity leave for all new mums (moms) and dads paid by the government and 6 months unpaid if the parents choose to take it. Pass it on to all them dumb assed "right wing" Americans. We do all this with having a 5% unemployment rate, universal healthcare etc etc. I love my nation

  • @franks2732 What we get in disability depends on how many years we work. 734 bucks every two weeks, wow that is good in comparison to what we have.

  • @thatsnotagoodidea In Australia if you cannot work you get "social security" which is $734 per fortnight per single and about $570 per each member of a couple which is called a Pension. The National Disability Scheme would pay for stuff like wheelchairs etc and ongoing treatment. My argument from our perspective is that the scheme although good will not provide for the lack of trained professional staff. Please pass this video on as it is good to show the difference between Australia and the USA

  • Is this like Social Security here in the states? If I get disabled I think I would get 777 bucks a month to live on.
