She's a false prophet. She clearly stated she'd drop "dirty" water (ie. after the "cleaning paint brushes") in the driveway so that she would not contaminate her garden. Al Gore would turn in his grave if he wasn't still alive.

The statement about it being fun, is a good statement. We had so much fun with our little garden this year.

Our summer was so hot that came on early, that our garden did not do as well as it could have. But, we just left it all and so much has started producing again, in September. So we are harvesting again.

did u hear monsanto illegally bribing the indonesian gov 1 million to allow sterile rice patties into their food system! this means when the indonesian farmers stop buying the GM rice patties then MASS FAMINE WILL ENSUE! its really quite evil! talk about popoulation control! its disgusting! tons of people will probably die because of this in the future, probably here to, GM STERILE FOODS SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED! u need plant reproduction for continous food!

Yes, Ive heard about this, they call it the terminator gene. It will be used so crops last only 1 season and seeds will need to be purchased instead of collected and stored.

As much of an outrage as this news already is, the real danger is that this gene has a potential of finding its way into land-race crops all over the world thru natural crossbreeding. Especially in places like Mexico where farmers purposely plant near land-race maze to add in the diversity and resistances of the wild breed.

monsanto a evil genetically modifying company created sterile rice. it is rice that cannot make more rice, the seeds are not able to reproduce next year. this is very bad when the seeds are not bought then there will be no more rice. im sure its not all rice patties but alot of farmers are buying them.

Good thinking -- be aware of what you're sending into your local waterway. I suppose runoff from your garden (if you didn't use pesticides) is okay?

rain alone causes runoff from your garden naturally which is ok. what i was concerned about was her washing her paint brushes or any non-organic chemicals going into the local water sources. pets and small animals could try to drink water from the driveway as well. other than that this woman is a saint and an inspiration to me.
