You forgot LuffyxAce. I mean, even though they have now been proven to be unrelated by blood, it still doesn't seem right to romantically pair two brotherly figures together.

i totally agree on the luffyxrobin and also about luffyxnami beacouse the first time they saw eachother in the last part of episode 1 which really looked like love at first sight :)P

The reason Alvida and Luffy doesn't work is because while Alvida likes him Luffy doesn't even notice/care. Luffy and Vivi could work if there was any chemistry between the two but there really isn't. The yaoi pairings remind me of this odd detail that seems to stick in yaoi fangirls' heads: 'If they're best friends, they HAVE to be a couple' I'm a LuNami fan myself but that's because at points I actually do see a bit of a spark between them. Nami seems to be the kind who tolerates him in secret.
