How to Play 'Zelda: Four Swords' with VBA Link

Due to popular demand, I have released a tutorial on how to properly play the GBA/VBA game "Zelda: Four Swords" with VBA Link, both with a wireless connection (online; WiFi/LAN) and offline (single player).
Just in case you do not already have it, the necessary WiFi/LAN edition of VBA Link can be downloaded at:

My brother and I are trying to connect to play a LAN game of The Legend of Zelda Fours Swords, and my laptop connects fine, but when he tries to use the IP address to connect it says error number 11004 and he cannot connect to my server. Any troubleshooting suggestions?

wait how do you set the link timeout value less then 200 but more then 1000 thats impossible =|
