this shows that basses can do anything... and that they are th bomb... I am singing this for contest and it's really difficult becauase it is just a very difficult song, and i just think being a soprano to hit a hi b flat is pretty dang hard

This is a wonderful piece of music and the lyrics are moving. I can not believe that I have never heard it before in my almost 50 Christmases. This should be a standard.

A beautiful song in whatever language it is sung. I don't speak a word of Italian, but it still moves me. Don't know who Tozzi was (obviously decades ago), but he was a very good tenor/baritone. Think about the WORDS and don't get hung up on language...God manifested in the flesh! Wow!
