  • What a gem! I thought i'd come round your house michael. I need to get my john prine songbook out....it puts an illegal smile on my face. Diamond!

  • What a beautiful back porch rendition of one of the great American songs. John Prine is one of our real master's of American music. "And empty pop bottles was all we would kill" was a line!

  • Makes my dick hard

  • need lyrics for those who love and hear some of the songs and words but to know all said gives full impact to the listener. Sound good though-music

  • @SynapticChaos This makes two of us ... J . P... HE'S MY MAN .. IF HE CAN'T WRITE AND SING A GREAT SONG -- NOBOBY CAN !!

  • Thanks for sharing this, . . . we're lucky to have a back porch video like this of the great John Prine, . . . he makes one proud to be an American, . . . sometimes something that is easier to be ashamed of when some of the corporate greed & related foreign policy misadventures are in focus.

  • I love this old song; I could play it over and over again.

  • nice....ol' maywood...i'm from daviess county, not far from paradise....i have a similar connection...growing up, i used to go up to forest park (same school district) as maywood...i was gonna go to school at proviso east but decided to go back down south and follow my roots!!!

  • @HatesBowen in NC? I went there as a camper for 5 years and heard the intro to paradise at a concert and i started singing along even though i had no clue how i knew the words. i couldnt for the life of me remember where i had heard it before and all of a sudden it hit me, the GRP. do yall still sing rocky raccoon too?

  • I go to a camp called Green River Preserve, and this is practically our theme song. Singing this with hundreds of people is one of the most satisfying feelings ever.
