  • Torres is a cheap shot artist, look it up dipshits...it's only a matter of time until he ends someone's career...what a piece of work.

  • Roloson is a class goalie. he better win a cup before he retires.

  • @shadowhorsegym No its not bullshit. Marc Savard is going to have to retire, Crosby is fucked up, Patrice Bergeron is one hit away from being done. Give me those three playing all day rather than assholes like Matt Cooke and Raffi Torres. And no hitting is way different now. Listen to older players talk about the game 20-30 years ago. The game was physical, but more grinding in the corners. Now its like you have to blow a guy up to make a hit count. Players have no respect for each other anymore

  • @oilcountry44 LOOL

  • @oilcountry44 looking really smart today!

  • @shadowhorsegym Also, I watched the Canucks against Hawks Thursday night and Torres could have annialated Duncan Keith who was behind his own net with puck and Torres had him on his bombsights but Keith turned his back toward Torres and he had to skate right by him because he would have gotten a penalty if he hit him. I think if player has puck you can hit him clean doesn't matter if he is facing you or not just no elbows, boarding, or deliberate headshot.

  • @shadowhorsegym In some cases the intention is to hit the head. I am not sure if the fans have changed either. I viewed this one again over and over and now I would have to say it was incidental contact with what looks like shoulder on chin which is a clean hit.

I think hockey players should were a chin strap like on a football helmet. A chinstrap would have protected Williams on this hit.

  • @camlpg hitting hasnt changed . the mentality of fans has changed and hits to the head are the new flavor of the week for the league and media, and thus fans to bitch about. look at clips of old hockey hits. theyre no worse then they are now. yet nobody bitched then. the game has gone soft buddy. simple as that

  • @shadowhorsegym I didn't say get rid of bodychecking.

Smoke on this: The most experienced players are the ones who know how to dish out hits, and not just the clean ones. Some players get very good at the 'art of dirty hits' and the latest nouveau art is to hit the guy's head. A few years ago I noticed that one method of hitting was extending the hands out like a punch into the player being hit - definitely not a bodycheck.

  • @shadowhorsegym I suppose.
