Actually a cow catcher! This is Texas after all. There was much debate about the front end on the A body forum. Basically the air dam saves 80 pounds over the factory Nader bumper and brackets and improves airflow over the radiator. The carbs are list# 6425 (650 cfm) race two barrels. Basically it's like running a dominator with better fuel distribution than a single carb manifold. Bigger carbs wouldn't do much for the small camshaft. Lots of torque and 1.72 60 ft times at 3600 feet elevation.
