Darth Maul was better than Dooku or Vader. Not as clumsy as Vader and not as old as Dooku, would've been alot better for him to stay as Palpatine's apprentice through the Clone Wars -trilogy. Vader on the other hand fit to the old trilogy.

Dooku's a fuckin faggot. They should have kept darth maul throughout the prequel trilogy and had anakin kill him in the third one to become sidious' new apprentice. That would've been dope!!

Maybe this would go that way: Maul survives Episode I, gets cyborg legs. Savage Opress finds him. Maul trains him. After Clone Wars Maul battles Obi-Wan but is defeated. Later he's ressurected and fight Vader but is defeated again.

I heard that Maul's cyborg legs are arent canonical. Maul was ressurected by Prophets of the Dark Side some time before 0 BBY. Vader dueled him and after a hard duel, killed him. There was left a hint that Palpatine tried to test Vader against his first student.
Maul is brother of Savage Opress. Mother Talzin believes that Maul still lives, so maybe Clone Wars will alter some story and will make that Maul survived loss of legs using Dark Side to keep himself alive.
