i'm planning on buying the compositor's toolkit but which one is the best the 1st one or 2nd ? I'm hesitation : 1st seems to have way more clips in it but 2nd is a lot cheaper with that pre-order price. Any advise ?

I'm not familiar with compositors toolkit 2? I'll have to check that out. You might also be interested in Action Essentials 2 - check my latest vid for a demo on that one.

I'd go with the 2nd because I believe it has all the elements from the first disk set? You might also look into video copilot's action essentials 2, it's astounding.
