The church that Martin Luther preached at is very similar to the one in Minnesota. His quotes are:" In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends". The ELCA lost on the side of right by one vote. One vote would have given the percentage needed. "Sin is essentially, a departure from God."

  • The reformation helped bring about a new scientific view of the world, rather than a primitive one of a pagan God casting down tornadoes to plague his people. For a rational viewpoint, take a look at the YouTube video "Lutherans, Tornadoes, and Gays! Oh my!" by ProfMTH.

  • Luther was a Catholic, I'm sure he would have loved it.

  • Who knows whether this was a message from God with the tornado and storm. One thing is for sure, the ELCA should be ashamed of itself and I hope many of the churches leave. It is ashame when those voting do not represent the will of most of the congregations. A political hijacking that has taken place over a number of years.

  • Beethoven was a Roman Catholic; I am sure Luther wouldn't have approved of this video..
