Music composed by Debbie Wiseman - Lyrics written by Don Black

This moving anthem offers hope against the back-drop of continual war throughout the world where children needlessly suffer and die.

This contemporary song has been translated into several different languages and has become a national 'anthem' sung by thousands of young people on World Peace Day -- September 21st.

I personally sang it at my Primary School and it sounded really good. :)

  • i remember when i sang this song at school, i felt i must be the only child to understand the meaning of this song. I would hear kids say "whats the point" and "this songs too boring" and felt like punching them in the face. Im still in this school, in year 11, and wish we would sing it once more so i could get the full sense of this song. Now, to quote this song, "no wars will stop me singing!"
