  • Looked a very good landing, considering the crosswinds they had, Also the shuttle survices travel quite light so there landing V speeds Would be quite slow, So they wouldent need to use reverse thrust.

Great video, good filming, Looks great when watched in high qaulity.

  • Thanks,

The reason for no reverse thrust was, because we landed on 05L, it is more fuel efficient to spend more time on the runway, and have a shorter taxi to T3.

  • No Reverse thrust?

  • Nope, this men we could vacate later, and so had less of a taxi to

    T3.

  • oh right well there was no real need to use reverse thrust anyway here since it was such a short landing and 737s small and can slow down alot quicker

  • seems to be a standard thing not to backthrust in a 757 - neither of the two times Ive travelled in a 757-200 the pilot used backthrust on touchdown.

  • BA's policy is not to use reverse thrust unless necessary since it is costly on fuel - usually just use breaks except on certain aircraft i.e. old a320

  • Ahh goo idea ;)
