The only issue I have with Gerald is his idea about direct democracy. Bottom line is it only works if you can limit the voting population to people who actually know and understand the issues. Even with all the shit going on now, the majority in this country go about ignorant of current events. The average person cares more about who is playing in the superball that the systematic dismantling of the US constitution.

@priceka1984 I do agree wholeheartedly with this, however like the typical American, action is usually not taken until an issue affects them directly. This may cause even the most ignorant to wake up and take action. My issue with direct democracy is the large population. It would be extremely difficult to progress with direct democracy given our population and given the differences between states.

I dont think you need to know where Libya is at as a president unless your concerned about keeping and growing this empire, which Herman Cain clearly does. Hey If you know very little of the countries history, which very few politicians do, then knowing where Libya is at is pointless.

@priceka1984 The problem with our country is the people, not the politicians. Look at what Gerald says. We have become a fast food fattened, prescription drug addicted, snooki stupid country. We should expect more of ourselves before we expect more out of our politicians.

People are very much more interested in what is going on in their lives than other people's, and they know their own affairs better than they know anyone else's.

Letting anyone tell others what to do leads to corruption, disorder and chaos.

Real order and coordination happens when people are left able to react to what they see happening, to act in their own interests, only prosecuting force and fraud.
