Kiwi Rail Taranaki Milk Trains - Part 1

Some footage of the Kiwi Rail Taranaki milk trains that run between Palmerston North and Whareroa . All footage is filmed over 5, 6 & 7 December 2011, and all locations used for filming are between Marton and Whareroa on the MNPL. In this video I've added smaller subtitles with all details.

Put together all three (i.e. inc. 526/Fordell) for a 29 minute video. I can safely say it was 29 mins of my life well spent. Some great locations there - in particular that "double chicane" on the Kai Iwi side of Westmere. You must have had some narrow squeaks getting to your next location - either that or you had to improvise. At Ruatangata I was saying "how the $^&*# did he get down there" when I realised you actually took the shot from the road but not on the overbridge!
