I don't want to be mean because this has happened to me and It sucks if it keeps happening....The reason you fell off both times is because you jumped before she jumped, and flew over. If you sat back and waited for her to jump, you'd have stayed on. Sorry if that sounded rude, or like a know-it-all. I've just had this happen to me like, five times.

@1nikomi No they aren't. Half seat is a like seat, like you'd take in the canter. 2 point is the position you take over fences. 2 point requires a release in the hands and your seat completely out of the saddle. Half seat is almost standing up slightly in your stirrups and riding the flow of the canter.
