Survey Nation completes its coverage of FanimeCon 2008 with a segment comparing Anime to Manga and Video Games. The term Fanime is something of a misnomer considering the convention attracts such a broad range of fanatics. While Manga, Anime, and many video games share a stylistic similarity, the storytelling methods are quite different. Manga (the Japanese word for comics) readers are often dissatisfied with Anime recreations of their favorite characters, while gamers sometime feel that Manga and Anime lose the interactive quality of their X-Box. Regardless of their preference, Survey Nation feels privileged to have met such a unique and open group of people.
