The Doctor thinks the Brigadier and Liz haves gone insane when they threaten and imprison him. How will The Doctor get out of this predicament? Once again the Doctor, played by Jon Pertwee, is forced to explain himself in this BBC clip from classic Doctor Who episode, 'Inferno'.

  • One of my favourite Doctor Who stories of all time. Pertwee's first season was just fantastic.

  • @xpaddy01 the guy in the photograph was one of the design team at the BBC - in-universe he's meant to be the Dictator of the parellel Britain as he appears on some propaganda posters as well. They just felt he had a good look for a despot..

  • What if that had been Dr. Smith (Lost in Space) instead of the Doctor?

  • Ahh, old weird dr.who. Too bad no one had creative control and could have ended it c. 1978 - before Vicki Pollard could come along and "re-imagine" it for the lowest common denominator.

  • one of the best episodes of the third Doctor.

  • has been my fave over the last ten or so years because I've been through the same shit trying to get my bloody insurance straitened out. America must be in a paralell universe because it's getting more and more like that interrogation scene with Who, Brigade, and Shaw.

  • Jon pertwee and David Tennant are my favourite doctors. (:

  • @vladtaltosfan Sqccccccccccc never mentioned the Great Vampires from the Dark Times so how was i soupposed to know ?.

  • @doctorwhoone Learn your Whoniverse history - the Time Lords fought a war with the Great Vampires back in the Dark Times. If you want such a cliched Mirror Universe story, having the vampires win that war is a pretty good starting point.

  • Out of curiosity, who is the man in the picture behind the Brigadier's desk?

  • @DeliriousGoomba hehe, it was just missing the dramatic build-up music
