TALK ABOUT AN ETERNAL TRIANGLE.I'VE HEARD OF BROTHERLY LOVE BUT THIS PUBLICITY PHOTO IS WAY AHEAD OF ITS' TIME. ME THINKS THERE'S MORE TO THIS THAN JUST A PUBLICITY PHOTO.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! A great song. Steve Madely used to spin this when he was at CHWO in Oakville, Ontario. I found a copy in the discount bin at at record store on Young St (opposite Sam's) and it was an essential part of my collection. Unfortunately I lost it (and a bunch more) vinyl in a move in the early 70s and it's taken 40 years to find the song again. Far out! (But what's with the wretched image? Tom deserves better.)
"Goin' Down" was the second single released by the Tom Northcott Trio, on Northcott's own New Syndrome label. The Trio was Northcott, guitar & vocals, Rick Enns (later of the United Empire Loyalists and Mock Duck), bass & vocals, and possibly Glenn Hendrickson on drums. The Eternal Triangle, by contrast, was a studio vocal group assembled by Northcott, comprising him, Howie Vickers (later of the Collectors) and Susan Pesklevits (later Jacks). "It's True" was their only single. Fix this, please.
why do you have this listed as the Eternal Triangle? The photo, yes, may be, it looks like Susan Jacks without her blonde hair, before she Married Terry Jacks.. This song, it's spelled "going down" is sung and written by Tom Northcott from the 45 on New Syndrome records around 1966. What's the association here? The flip side is "the sky's cold tears" cheers! check my youtube channel for the actual 7" playing of this song.
