The end of Week Three is here! It was a cold day out in Burgos but much better than what's going on in the Eastern US right now so my sympathy goes out to all of you. Today was like any Friday before with a fiesta at the end of the day to round up the week. I did get one nice surprise, however, when Alberto Ares visited me. Alberto is a Jesuit priest from an organization in Vallodolid, Spain that is very similar to Atalaya. He helped set me up on this trip after I went with other McNamarians to help in Vallodolid in March. I owe him many thanks. He also came wearing a McNamara polo so I appreciated it even more! Anyways, we had a special (but cold!) night tonight and it was a good way to start a three-day weekend. Tomorrow I understand that we'll be visiting some villages and on Monday we won't be working because it is the feast day of Santiago (St. James) who has a pilgrimage path named in his honor that passes directly through Burgos. It's neat to see these city-wide festivals and I hope Monday will be memorable. Just make sure you check back to see! Once again, thanks to all for watching! I'm coming home soon!
