Quinoa is a fantastic ingredient. Leigh-Chantelle from vivalavegan.net is a bit obsessed with quinoa, but who wouldn't be?!

  • great=)

  • So does it have the same nutritional values as that of spinach and chard? Or does the nutrition resemble grains more? Just wondering if it has the same nutrients as a dark green leafy vegetable, being that she says it's a complete protein, because if so, that's amazing! I could pretty much live off the stuff because it tastes so good:)

  • Heads up.

While thought to be a grain, quinoa is actually a relative of leafy green vegetables like spinach and Swiss chard.
