@jihadifanclub what you seem be against more the idea of the separation of church and state" secularism. both of which are not necessarily democratic by any means.
-
@jihadifanclub seems to be incorrect democracy means coming to a decision. if a country has its foundation on islam and an islamic constitution, democracy can work. if the state decides to ignore islam then it is no longer an islamic state. this can be said for all form of government whether its monarchy, republic etc. islam gives us guide lines on how to treat each other and how to behave as a community and as a state, how we run that state is up to us so long as it does not break divine rules

@AFGalwayz Democracy is not defined as simply picking ones leader. Democracy is a system where people are allowed to pick the laws based upon voting, so under a democratic system people could vote to leagalize things the Quran forbids. Hence the word "democracy" which means "people rule". Just because people may have a say so in some things under Islamic sule does not mean Islam is democratic.
-
@jihadifanclub the system of democracy is compatible with islam. provided that the democratic state is based on an islamic constitution. people wanted heriditary rule when the prophet was dying and some wanted his relatives, the prophet pbuh thought by many to say chose amongst yourselves as in come to an agreement on who is leader. in addition, the quran is a document that stands against extremism and is beacon of human rights and dignity. oppreson is worse than slaughter

@AFGalwayz i really appreciate your views...without intoxicating myself with he excess gibberish that is out there folllowed by ignorant youths who serve half the time no purpose to society, my views are based on logic and faith and a simple understanding that there is no other law but the law of god and the law of god is expressed in the quran which the prophet SWT has passed down to us. hadiths are the sole reason why the thrid world is called the thid wolrd and the west is the west!

@cryfreeedom I pity you.
If that's what you are, that's what you are. It's not an ad-hominem or anything, nor is it intended to be. It's literally what you've claimed on your own accord multiple times.
You've openly said what your beliefs are, namely that anything besides the Qur'an is invalid. Therefore the "Qur'an alone" ought to be the only source of guidance. 'Quran only'
It's a statement of fact, not an attack. You just don't adhere to the same epistemology or belief system as your Sunni or Shi'a brethren.

So basically you are a 'Quran-only' Muslim?
