  • I just purchased the 1962 album "The Music of Brazil" by Percy Faith, and this selection is on the album. Its interesting to note that Bob Crosby and his Bobcats had a very interesting version of this song called "Boogie Woogie Maxixe," which is outstanding. However, I love the full-orchestra version by Percy Faith just as much.

  • Hi USRoute66, that's it, and Bob Crosby's version is much earlier, from 1939.
