I beleive its an M12 engine. Kind of a double overhead cam M10. Same engine evolution that ended up on the F1 cars.

It´s an original E21 2 liters mount and the head is from an M3 E30 S14 engine! 290HP! The crank shaft is from 320is....! Believe me, I´m the driver!!:-)
