I totally HATE the way Nintendo always shows people standing around and acting like RETARDS while playing the Wii. Who actually plays like that? I myself NEVER stand up.

Hedgehogs ARE good swimmers. They just lack the stamina to swim for too long.
Sonic doesn't swim because initially someone told his creators the false info that hedgehogs couldn't swim. Later, he kept Sonic like that just because.
Amy and Shadow can swim because they are not Sonic.

Sonic hates water. Sega needed to stop putting cruddy games out there, and focus on what made a game a game. Graphics, sound, plot. These make it look good, but what make it great is the GAMEPLAY! GET IT SEGA!
