Swedish Rhapsody No. 1, also known as Midsommarvaka (Midsummer Vigil) - was written in 1903 and is often simply called the "Swedish Rhapsody." It is the best-known piece composed by Hugo Alfvén, and also one of the best-known pieces of music in Sweden.

This is not only not the usual "easy listening" music at all. It is far from Easy Listening as anyone can get. Listening to this piece or most of Mantovani's repertoire requires a sophisticated music ear. -- do not believe it, ask you local symphony orchestra to emulate the piece. They will not because they can not. Easy? Not bloody likely!
