Actually, The standard laser cannons along the aft, stern and on the "top" deck and below of the ISD I, II and Victory class destroyers are about the same strength as a quad burst from any Twin ion engine fitted imperial fighter, The Turbo laser batteries however are capital class ship to ship weapons and generally planetary orbit bombardment weapons.

One shot of a turbo laser decimates any small fighter craft. even corvettes, But those turrets have very slow tracking.

SO....MANY....COMMENTS..... I know that now, at the time I was but an apprentice in the ways of the nerd.

  • @Mylesdude101 It's most likely an Imperial-1 class Star Destroyer, which had point-defense laser cannons that would take several shots to destroy a fighter.
