Goodbye Teen Second Life [End of TSL Slideshow]

As you already know, Teen Second Life is shutting down with all regions and users above 15 years of age being merged into the Main grid.

This little slideshow is meant to share in the memories of quite a few Teen Second Life residents. Some of the events featured in the video are Global Kids Tour of Consent game, Global Kids CRC camp, Global Kids youth forum 2010, Eros, the Spark Project, TSL Halloween Town 2010, Eye4You Alliance, The British Council Isle and the Teen Grid Blowout Party.

Some of our most creative and outstanding residents can also be seen in the slideshow. People such as Vaughan Vendetta, Karissa Silversmith, RosalieHale Quintessa, Sylver Bu, Zombie Pye, Ishy Wingtips, DylanRyan Faith and our beloved and greatly missed linden, Blue Linden, to name a few.

Over the past 5 years, the Teen Grid has been an enriching place full of creativity and learning experiences. Many have made several good memories here from the people they have met to the feats they have accomplished. It was truly a wonderful experience to be able to explore this small corner of the Second Life map.

Now, though we all know that none of our regions are dissappearing, it is quite obvious that our little home away from home won't feel quite the same as it used to however, it is important to remember that this is not the end. We are only beginning a new chapter in our young virtual lives. We still have our items, our talents and eachother. Here's to a happy new year and a new world to explore.

After 4 months of making my account I haven't been back on sl until last november..I was really mad when I seen that noone hung out in the welcome area anymore, my friends didn't get on..I just really miss tsl, I had sooo much fun. I like TSL Better than ASL (Adult secondlife) the only thing I love about adult is the roleplay eventhough, I thought it was stupid at first but, I needed something to entertain me.

Good things from the original Second Life and the good things from IMVU need to come together.

My list of good things about SL 1. walk like a real life person / unlike 2. larger areas to hang out

3. there are realistic international themed zones 4. if there where cars like in this video that whould be gr8 My list of bad things about IMVU 1. you go from dot to dot, it limits where/what you can do

2. no cars to drive My like list for imvu 1. orginized chat room serch page 2. IM bubbles

@Robert46514 I always found IMVU to just be an awful version of SL. I did like the low lag, but other than that, it's pretty awful in my opinion. Still, to each their own.

As much bitching as took place on TSL, by the end of the end of the day, I have to say, i fucking miss TSL. From the simple chats to the Armies, it was all fun. And may it be known that at heart TSL was the best place to be.

I clicked this video because I play Second Life but I never touched TSL. When I realised there were so many furries on TSL, I was horrified.

I miss you old TSL. Most of all I miss Nu Noob with the money chairs.

They let me back in with the new tsl, cause I started when I was like 13, but its not the same. Most people there now never even heard of a fur.tool, and noobs are wearing things only people with lindens could afford once.

I miss the spam. And the gesture wars. I learned all my memes there.
