Sorry for the poor quality on this one, I saw these two showing off and arguing over the ladies and grabbed the camera in a hurry. It seems they are pretty well matched!

  • Crikey your Sailfin Mollys are huge, I recently bought a male 2 weeks ago who is alot smaller.

    5*

  • Yes, they are in fact, lol. My largest male, the cream colored wag, is pushing 6". I truly believe it is a combination of the diet that I feed them, the large size of the tank, and the fact that I keep them in brackish water.

  • kyryah, I have been trying to find black sailfin mollies like these forever. Any chance of getting some offspring from you if you still have them? Please let me know

  • I got three Sailfin Mollies today not knowing the sex. I guess i got two male, and one pregnet female. The two males are starting to fight over the female. Will the get seriously hurt?

  • This is not a good thing to happen in a community tank. Intimidation stresses all the other fish and disease is far more likely.
