@DannyBoy52785 G'day mate, not sure who your comment was aimed at, but in relation to the spelling of Iraq, 'Irak' is how it's spelled in French. But I agree with everything else you said.

legion fought in the first gulf wat supporting the coalition with its armoured regiment ,but didnt taook part in the iraq war in 2003,yes they are fighting in afghan now as members of isaf ,

@Carmen4999 Ich spreche eh auch Deutsch, und ich kenne eigentlich den Kuwait-IraK-Allierten Krieg als "Golf Krieg", aber ist eigentlich recht egal. Wünsch dir noch einen schönen Tag ;)

@Carmen4999 We are both correct, depending which way you look at it. The 2nd persian gulf war is commonly refered to as just "gulf war", while the iraq-iran war is refered to as "1st persian gulf war".

1st of all, its "iraq' not irak. And its not a stupid war. I just asked a simple question, whether or not the legionare was in there or not. just a yes or no. I didnt need any comment about its political BS. 2nd of all thats pretty bad ass there in afghanistan. Much respect for any fighting force helping to fight terror.
