Buddhirbalam yashodhairyam nirbhayatvam arogatah
Ajadyam vakpatutvam cha hanumath smaranadbhaveth

He who meditates on Lord Hanuman,
Would be blessed with knowledge, strength,
Fame, courage, fearlessness, health,
Tirelessness, mastery over words and many more

Sanskrit to English Word Meaning

Buddhi - Wisdom(intellect) ;
balam - Strength;
yasah - Fame;
dhairyam - Valor (courage);
Nirbhayatvam - Fearlessness ;
arogata (aarogya) - Health;
Ajaadyam - Determination (alertness);
vaak - speech ;
patuthvam - expert;
cha - and ;
Hanumath - Lord hanuman;
samaranath - meditate;

Manojavam maaruthatulya vegam
Jitendriyam buddhimathaam varishtam
Vaathathmajam vaanarayoodha mukhyam
Sri Rama dootham shirasa namaami

Lord Hanuman, the son of Vayu, is swift as the wind.
He has controlled his sense organs, and is the most intelligent among the intelligent ones. He is the chief of the army of the monkeys and the messenger of Lord Rama. Everyday I bow down at thy feet.
