Yep WIN decides to redbadge everything with the box instead of the dots. Looks completely unprofessional when they botch it eg 2nd test when the 9 box logo was put in the middle of the 9 Olympic logo, resulting in a bit of the proper 9 Olympic watermark sticking out on top and underneath the 9 WIN box logo WIN stick on top. Also WIN rebadge everything with the box on the analogue/SD channels, yet the dots appear untouched on 9HD. So if anyone in SA/WA wants to see the dots simply switch to 9HD
WIN never made the switch for a strange reason. Yet new idents made by Nine feature dots or some sort of it. They show to dots but seems to run away from win. Instead of 50 years its CHOOSE WIN. WIN owns SA/WA nine stations. Instead of adding dots, NOPE. Take the box off, there we go. Honestly, Can't PBL just buy WIN?
Indeed it is. The reason for this is that Channel 9 in Adelaide is owned by WIN television. Dont believe go to Adelaide. Still used to this day. Was there on the weekend (May 3rd) and was getting used.
Yeah apparently over here in the west it's called WIN Nine and they only use the dots when using stuff from the east. Personally I think WIN should just rebrand everything without the dots
@Brucetiki No 9HD anymore :( Replaced by GEM

We are still getting a semblance of the old logo in both the Perth & Adelaide Markets the Channels 9 are owned by WIN.
WIN has this bizarre obsession with trying to rebadge the 9 programme. This means in both Perth & Adelaide - no dots next to the logo.
I'd say we should put the box down to one of those many television experiments that didn't work out. A bit like "Don't forget your toothbrush."
It was always more pleasing to look at the logo with dots.
