This talks aims to give the viewer an understanding of the importances of one's intentions and stress the need for one to have ikhlas. Ikhlaas can also be translated at sincerity. It warns the viewer of doing one's deeds with riyaa. Ar-riyaa can be considered showing-off and being insincere. The author can be emailed at whyislam101@gmail.com

  • Asalaam Alaiykum: I'll admit I sometimes let my mind slip into thinking what others think of me when I walk in the mosque, it's difficult to ignore when you have eyes staring at you (rude to stare anyone?)...The mosque is solely for the worship of Allah and not a catwalk for young men to compare fashion trends in

    ...

Give me Dua, to keep me on the right path with the right intentions, I'm going through a powerful test and I sometimes wish I died in my childhood car accident.....

  • @crazyyafai It very well may be Shaytan coming to trying to trick you. One of the predecessors said, "When Shaytaan comes to you whilst you are engaged in prayer and says: You are showing off, increase it in length." Also, I listed some advice towards the end of the video about trying to fight riyaa so check that iA. But remember this is something we always continue to try to have to fight, it wont just like go away.

    Allah knows best.
